Performance in polish is 10/10
This title is a hallmark of Polish story telling. It's based on a real history while using some drama to put into perspective the way in which history affected the individuals. Its visceral and gruesome at times but put plainly into context.

Pięknie napisane!
I don’t usually listen to Polish literature as I tend to find it difficult to comprehend, being a migrant from the country in my early years. This book however, has reawakened my love and passion not just for the language, but also for it’s history, tradition and beauty. I cannot recommend this enough.
