Summary
New York Times best-selling Author of Field of Fire and Tom Clancy Power and Empire and Tom Clancy Oath of Office
Warning: The next terrorist attack on American soil is coming...sooner than you think.
They can strike anytime, anywhere. A public landmark. A suburban shopping mall. And now, the human body itself. Three Middle Eastern terrorists have been injected with a biological weapon, human time bombs unleashed on American soil. They are prepared to die. To spread their disease. To annihilate millions. If America hopes to fight this enemy from within, we need a new kind of weapon. Meet Special Agent Jericho Quinn. Air Force veteran. Champion boxer. Trained assassin. Hand-picked for a new global task force that, officially, does not exist. Quinn answers only to the Director of National Intelligence and the US President himself.
Under the radar. Brutal. Without limits.

Great story but
I just couldn't get used to the narrator. Everyone sounded like they were black and smoked 10 packs of cigarettes a day since childhood. The Jericho Quinn books will have to be read normally.

A Trill Ride
I'm a Tom Clancy fan, but now I'm a Marc Cameron fan big time! He created a new character, Jericho and he has Air Force background like me. what an awesome character. I love it. and the story started with an explosion and just seemed to keep going until the end. cliffhangers and humor. I loved it. I loved it, I want more. the narration was weak. the guy couldn't do female voices well and sometimes I didn't know who was talking. but other than that it was a thrill ride.

Great book, awful performance
This is such a great story, it’s just too bad the performance didn’t match. The accents were horrible and way overdone. I understand the necessity of character voices, but these were cringe worthy. It didn’t help me to visualize anything except buckets of crawfish and extra crispy Colonel Sanders chicken down in the bayou. They were grotesquely over exaggerated and it made me want to fast forward every time the character spoke. I didn’t care for a single voice the narrator used outside of his normal reading voice. It nearly ruined a great book.

OK if you are Ok with sexist remarks and political barbs
This could have been a good book but the political sway and sexist remarks was sooooo old man speak. It took away from the story. Not to mention the good guys using terms like “rag heads” and talking about their wives’ broken promises of laying off the brownies. I was apparently NOT the demographic audience the writer was seeking.
