About this listen

Here, in this audio enhanced recording, the master of 20th century English humor, P. G. Wodehouse, presents two classics of the genre: My Man Jeeves and Right Ho, Jeeves.

The perpetually befuddled Bertie Wooster and his knight-in-shining-tuxedo Jeeves have long been hailed as the greatest literary creations of P. G. Wodehouse, the most popular English humorist in history.

Enjoy these two classic Wodehouse stories in one complete set!

Nothing worse than Americans/Canadians putting on bad English accents, with the wrong 'poarsh emphaahsis' and imagined 'Lorng' vowels. This is an excellent, witty, well-written book, narrated excruciatingly (thus, for me, ruined), due to a basic misunderstanding of how the English speak english. I offer the following for Mr. Theis, should he wish to appeal to english speakers, or those who would like to hear the book in the form that Wodehouse meant it: Dahlia=Day-lee-a (not Daahr-lee-a); Ass=Ass (not Arse); Cross=Kross (not Kroarse); Horror=Horrer, (not Whoare-er); Boadicea=Bo-du-see-a (not Booh-Deesh-ah); Accede=Ack-cede (not ass-seed); Cesarewitch=Se-zar-uh-witch (not Seezer-witch); Antibes=On-teeb/An-teeb (not Ann-tibbeeze); Ashtray=Ash-tray (not Arsh-tray); Dulwich=Dull-itch (not Dul-Which); etc

At least three chapters do not feature Jeeves and Wooster at all. I found the narrator's voice a little grating after a while.

Part of this is not Jeeves and Wooster.
