Summary

Maggie Newberry reluctantly tries on the expatriate life with her boyfriend Laurent in a small village in Provence. The beautiful and ancient mas that she and Laurent move into has a terrible and bloody history which is brought dramatically into the present by the murder of one of their friends. Took me to France during Lockdown

Having actually already read this several years previously, it was delightful to listen to, and very descriptively carried me away to Provence, to all deliciousness seasoned with a mystery, scandal and charm, an intelligent and interesting visit away from my own four walls during the lockdown.
