Much Loved!
My five year old grand daughter was just delighted with this story. She listens before bed. I can hear her laughter from my bedroom. She started incorporating it into her daytime play. She had her Barbie dolls walking a tightrope and riding Zebras. This is by far her favorite story. Thanks to Enid Blyton for writing it.

Entertaining nostalgic listen
I was a big fan of Enid Blyton growing up, but had never come across these circus stories before. I enjoyed listening to this. I don't know if they altered it at all from the orginal text (as other publishers have done with my favourite Faraway Tree series), as I never read this particular series. But it is un PC enough for me to think that they left it as it was. I think books should be left in their original format - warts and all - and not 'modernised'. It's half their charm, even if if raises eyebrows at what was acceptable behaviour at the time it was written.
