Summary

Behind every Florida man is a Florida woman - usually waving a restraining order.

"Florida Man” has met his match in Bobbie Drex, a down-and-out native of the Sunshine State. She may be short on cash, but she’s always packing enough snark to give any whack-job a run for his money. Including her wisecracking redneck cousin Earl.

But when a mysterious stranger arrives at her mechanic shop seeking repairs to his ratty old RV, it’s Bobbie who’s in for a complete overhaul.

Phantom shooters in hot pants. Gonadal twins. Norman Bates in a turban. Mothman pooper scoopers.

It’s enough to make anyone want to run off and join the circus. But in Florida, you don’t have to. Wait long enough, and the freak show comes to you.

So, grab some mosquito repellent and a lawn chair. Then, sit back and relax. Things are about to go side-splittingly off the rails in the Sunshine State.

Like Christopher Moore? Carl Hiassen? Tim Dorsey? You'll probably love Moth Busters, too! The weirdness of The X-Files and the unwashed insanity of My Name Is Earl collide to form this deliciously snarky, totally abnormal mystery series. New from the author of the best-selling Val Fremden Mystery series!

Amazing

I LOVED this audiobook- so original, with funny, likeable characters, and just a touch of the paranormal. The narration is fantastic. I’m so glad I found this series, and I hope more of the books are released in this format.

hilarious!

Hilarious book. Sorta in the weird vibe of Carl Hiassen and The X Files. It was a fun read!

story is ok.

This book was OK. The story has the quirky and some of the fun down for what the book seems like it should be. But the main character spends so much time going from binding with the other characters to suspecting the other characters of wrongdoing back-and-forth she seems bipolar.
It could have been better. Another of it's big flaws is one of the character is so stupid and is portrayed by the narrator and such an annoying way as a really hard to listen to.
Also there is no safety on a clock. It's the only gun that doesn't have a safety. I say that because there's several scenes where they refer to putting the safety on or taking the safety off of the glock. Which is funny .

Too funny!!

This author has a fabulous sense of humor!! If you are looking for a well written mystery, the plot is pretty predictable. But if you are looking for fun characters, laugh out loud humor and enjoyable entertainment, give this author and any of her books a try. This is the fifth I’ve read and I plan to read more.

Moth Busters Great Book!

I was so pleased with Morh Busters having read the kindle book that I looked for it on Audible. I found Moth Busters but no more of the series. I implore you to put the rest if the series on audible. The narrator was awesome! She imbidies all if the characters as I imagined them. The story it self was hilarious, romantic, action packed and filled with mystery and intrigue. I'm reading the rest of the series in kindle form but would love to hear in audiobook format as well.

I can't bear the audio!

I understand these characters are from the South. I myself am from the South. However the lengths to which this narrator goes to portray a person with a southern accent is so stereotypical and over the top it is insulting. It is just bad.

Boring all Over the place book written by a teen

The story is all over the place. Relying heavily on exaggerated heavily crude remarks made in a awful attempt at a Southern accent. The main character is beyond naive/ignorant while but goes on ignorant suspicious tantrum. The book is long and boring for no reason. How it got published is beyond comprehension.
