Summary
Love is not the simple thing that novels and poetry speak of. It is by turns subtle and overwhelming. It may slip silently into your heart, or strike like a bolt of lightning.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that Elizabeth Bennet is the wittiest lady in Hertfordshire, and her sister Jane is the most beautiful. Their other qualities, however, are less widely recognised, even by those who profess to love them.
Disappointed by Mr Bingley’s sudden departure, Jane escapes the tumult of Longbourn for the Gardiners’ house in London. Elizabeth, vexed by her own romantic debacle with Mr. Darcy, and in possession of distressing intelligence which could endanger their family and neighbors in Meryton, soon joins her there from Kent.
When a family crisis causes them to extend their stay in Cheapside, a new acquaintance—handsome and titled—brings the Bennet sisters to the attention of London society and returns them to the company of Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley. One man finds himself with a rival for his lady’s affections, while the other struggles to make amends for the mistakes of the past.
As Elizabeth questions her rejection of the master of Pemberley and Jane begins to open her heart, can the qualities that most matter—intelligence, integrity, humor, and kindness—be recognized by the men who truly love and respect them?

Wonderful 😍
I listen to audiobooks in English but I'm Italian so bare with me... I really liked this Jane, I usually like stories of Elisabeth and Darcy but this smart and kind Jane was a treasure, finally not the dumb but pretty sister, but a real person with some backbone. Stevie is always a pleasure to listen to, can't go wrong with her. I raccomand this book.

Pleasing tale with Jane Bennet getting her moment
I actually think I vaguely remember reading this story in print form/online ages ago.
Very good original characters, lots of the Gardiners. Jane doesn't feature much in most Austen fanfic, nice to see her shine. Not sure the Bennet parents' reformation was entirely likely but loved seeing Caroline Bingley getting her comeuppance.

Very good
It's lovely that Jane is the main character and that she is depicted as intelligent in addition to being beautiful and serene. I loved the Earl of Lyfford. Excellent narration as always from Stevie Zimmerman.

A New Take on Jane
this story has a great fresh new take on Jane Bennet and gives her more to do than be demure and handwave away everyone else's bad behavior - and I always enjoy any P&P story that gives Caroline her just desserts

Lovely book.
Loved it. It was as much about Jane as it was Elizabeth. Different pairing made it very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great Jaff.

Math Rules!
A story that portrays Jane as an intelligent older sister whose abilities are appreciated by a worthy man. There are two love stories for the readers to enjoy, and the listeners will find the narrator delightful.

Excellent story of the loves of Jane and Elizabeth
Excellent narration of the loves of Jane and Elizabeth Bennet. It’s actually more the story of Jane, and I don’t want to spoil it, but she rest is more than a pretty face. This is one I will definitely listen to again.

In my top 5 PnP variations
I’d hoped this one would come out in audio and I couldn’t be more pleased that the narrator is also a fav. 5s all around.

a good story
this story has more of Jane in it then Elizabeth but it also shows her in a different light. It shows that she has more substance then just a smiling, agreeable, beautiful woman and actually has a bit of a backbone. I did rend to het a bit bored bc welp o love Darcy and Elizabeth and I was ready to get back to it them. But in all honestly I LOVED how it portraits Mrs Bennett. She actually becomes a mother and I love absolutely love it. in everyone I have listened to has never done that and I have listened to a great many.

Very Enjoyable
I was hesitant to try this book as it is heavy on Jane Bennet. However, this author made Jane Bennet a more engaging character.
There is NO real conflict in this book and very little angst which I appreciate. We have plenty of misunderstandings with the original content and I am happy to see good communication. This is not to say that I don’t love a good angsty book, but if you are looking for something light but engaging this book will do it.
I enjoyed the new characters and how their stories weaved in with the well known ones. I would love to hear more of Mary’s story. She felt forgotten at the end.

Finally a mostly centered Jane adaptation
These was an excellent listen. The only complaint I have is the very very end. What about Mary, dang it?! You can’t give her the ultimate glow up and leave us hanging.
