A great book that uses spiritual weapons to fight earthly battles

The timing is perfect that I listened to this book. I'm doing a Prescilla Shirer Bible study, Gideon, and she is really emphasizing that there are spiritual components to our earthly battles that we fight, and that we should really fight back with spiritual weapons. I was listening tMoney Making Mom out of pure desperation needing money to start my business. But Crystal Paine kept reiterating throughout the book "giving" when I need to be "earning!" I really didn't pay attention to that until she devoted an entire chapter to the concept of giving and blessing others, and I felt that God really wanted to drive this point into my brain. This struggle I have with money is an earthly battle and I've been using earthly weapons to combat it, with a wrong mindset. Although I still believe that I have a great idea for my business, I'm going to spend some time in prayer and ask God to give me the desire to give, and use my business to make a difference in people's lives as my motivation rather than just making money to have money. Money is great, she doesn't deny that, and hard work is essential, but having a heart of giving is God's unlikely weapon that He gives us to fight the battle and struggle we have with money. I'm also going to use her tips on earning some start up cash that she gave throughout the book to help me save up enough to start my business, and pray to God that I'll remember to always use His weapons to fight my battles.

Great book and inspiration

Would you consider the audio edition of Money-Making Mom to be better than the print version?

I love my audio books so I can listen while I work my business.

I love her heart to help others. I have that same idea with my business. I feel I am a tool for God to use to bless others.

Good book!

I really enjoyed Crystal's story and all of the great tips. Very motivating. The book however was read way to fast. It was sometimes hard to tell when the book was was highlighting a story versus the actual book.

Nothing new...

I seriously struggled to finish this book. It started out strong in the beginning. But then I realized it's just the same information that is being recycled for moms that want to work at home and not actually make some real money. Maybe this is my fault, maybe I've read too many entrepreneurial books. But this one really lost me at the end when she started getting super religious. I want good books, with good information, that can be read and enjoyed by everyone looking to improve their business skills. The title is misleading. This book should be called "moms who want to make a little bit of money at home and then give it away".

l loved this book. it is a wealth of information from beginning to end. I couldn't stop listening to it. The amount of useful resources in it is great. A truly inspirational read. i am mostly proud of all the successful and hardworking women who shared their journeys. This book is a total inspirational guide to a small business owner , entrepreneur and single mother like me. Thank you!

This book is great for every mom period. if you are a stay at home mom who needs extra cash, a woman with a dream and doesn't know where to start or a working mom who wants to do just a little more. This book gives you ideas and motivation.
