Lynn was the carefree daughter of a Miami undercover narcotics agent—until her dad snuck out of their house in the dark of night without so much as a glance back. She never understood what happened to him until she was in high school, and he was in prison for drug smuggling. By then, Lynn had developed a massive drug and alcohol habit of her own. It was the perfect setup for her to latch onto the only connection to her dad that remained once he was paroled from prison—cocaine. After a few years of abusing coke together, Lynn lost everything and everyone she ever cared about and was forced to choose between her father and her life.

Midnight Calling: A Memoir of a Drug Smuggler's Daughter is a true story about family bonds, addiction and the price of holding on when it's time to let go.

Truest description of cocaine overuse ive heard

Great, honest, unembelished story from someone who has clearly experienced the issues discussed.
Not the usual crap written by someone looking to show off about how cool or hard they "were" an honest interesting engaging book.

Much credit to the author

A tough journey to the simple truth

listening to Lynn's life story provides a glimpse into what we don't know about the lives of people all around us....and how these seemingly bound-to-end- ugly stories reveal that people can and do survive and thrive....and live and nurture renewed lives with so much positivity....thanks for sharing....
