An Audible classic
Although short, this is an excellent, light, classic Audible story. Very imaginative, but not pretentious. Excellent narration. A relaxing bedtime listen.

8 yr old to 84 yr old enjoyed in the car
Perfect length to quell the moans of a 1 hour car trip. all enjoyed. Narrator is of course perfection.

Listened again and again
I’ve listened to this story with my 6 year old granddaughter many times. The story is compelling and it is read with excellence. It was only after listening a few times that i realized it was the actor Kevin Kline.! His telling could not be better.

Short But Sweet
This was a wonderful audiobook, albeit short. Kevin Kline brings both the characters and story to life with his stunning voice. The background music and sound elements provide the atmosphere to keep you in the world of knights and dragons. Rather than taking on the entire Arthurian legend, this story focuses on one lesson in Arthur’s early kingship. What starts out as a simple tale from Merlin becomes a defining moment in the young king’s life.
