About this listen
A promise written on a coaster. A lost night in a dark room.
Grayson Cole was my brother’s best friend.
He was all of my firsts.
Then he went away…
Drew Harris was just a kid, a senior in high school, my best friend’s little sister.
They said she was too young to know her feelings.
I was too old to have them, so I left to join the military.
Four years passed.
Loss, injury, angry words I can never take back.
I’m home, but I’m not the same.
Neither is she.
Now she’s a woman with flashing blue eyes, long blonde hair, and gorgeous curves.
She’s the same sweet smile, the same sassy mouth…
I could never say No to her before.
I should say No for her sake.
She deserves better than what I’ve become, scarred and damaged.
“They told me to stay away from you. I went away to try… God, I tried. Now everything has changed. I’m back, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make you mine…”
An RWA-Passionate Ink "Sexy Scribbles" Finalist.
(A full-length, contemporary romance about first love, redemption, and finding your way home. No cheating; No cliffhangers. Small-town, brother’s best friend, military, forbidden love, second-chance romance.)

Make You Mine: Believe in Love Book #1
🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧
My journey with Tia Louise is very young, however, the few stories I have already listened/read have been so incredibly full of heart and hope that I just can’t wait to devour every single book on her backlist. Every story I have experienced by her has made me feel, and that kids, in my opinion, is what a storyteller needs to aspire to and when they do, it is magic!
I like realistic fiction where I can see myself as part of the world I’m experiencing, and the storylines are within my realm of possibility. You write a story with those two factors plus make me feel things, and I’ll be screaming your name in every corner of every street I can get to! Trust in that.
MAKE YOU MINE hit a hat trick kids and I loved every minute of it. The story was very true to what I believe smalltown shenanigans to be; especially the whole have and have-not circumstance that really turned out to be something completely different. It was true to the military aftermath circumstance that surrounded the story. And it for sure had the second chance to get it right down pat. Because of all this, I believed in the story, and I was rooting for Drew and Grayson from the very beginning and I never wavered. I would be remis if I didn’t tell you that I would have preferred the focus of advertising to be not on the *brother’s best friend* aspect and more on the military aspect because it was a huge part of Grayson’s growth and I honestly feel the brother thing was inconsequential. *shrug* Anywho … lol
I really liked this story, even the “last minute conflict” because it helped move the story forward and it fit with the storyline! Thinking back, I can’t really point to any one circumstance or plot-point that did not have meaning and worked to move the journey. That’s not as common as one would think LOL and when it happens, I get giddy! Hence why I am on a mission to read and/or listen to every word that Tia Louise has out there!! If you like your stories well thought out with character growth and believable and relatable storylines, this author should be on your radar!
❤️🎙️NARRATION🎧: Lance Greenfield and Kristen Leigh worked so great together! I loved how they brough the story to life for me AND how versatile their voices were. It was an incredible 8-hour journey for me! I highly recommend this audiobook!

*First Love/ Young Love
*Come Back to Me
*Best Friends Sister
*Small Town
Make You Mine is the first book in the Believe in Love series. This is a First Love type of romance. Drew fell in love with Gray the first time he saved her. She was four and he was eight. Gray went to college and then went into the military. Drew promised to wait for Gray to return. Gray and Danny were on a mission together when their vehicle got attacked. Danny did not make it. After Danny's death Gray disappeared and didn't believe that he was good enough for Drew. Gray did eventually come back to their small town. Drew was not willing to take "No" for an answer. She is willing to help him through his PTSD and never stop loving him. This is a sweet small-town romance.
Kirsten Leigh and Lance Greenfield did a great job narrating this book.

Emotional
This was such an emotional story.
I love the bond and chemistry between Drew & Grey. I absolutely love how Drew is there for Grey and loved him through the rough times.
They both have gone through some trauma and I really like how they work through it.
This was full of friendship, frustration, loss, grief, hope, love, and forgiveness.

Gray & Drew
This audiobook was so good. The beginning broke my heart into a million pieces. The never fitting in, the belittling and gossiping gave way to friendship, young love and the sense of wanting better and more. These characters fought so hard to be together but life had so many other plans.
Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh gave their all and so much more to voice Gray and Drew. Their story was beautifully written.

Sweet first love conquers all
I liked the story (listened within 2 days) about their sweet and romantic first love that guides them through their life. He is suffering from serious ptsd problems and she has such a big heart. They conquer all at the end.
I did however get very distracted by the male narrator, his crescendo-decrescendo-crescendo was too much for me.

Can Gray finally realise that he is more than enough for Drew and he is the only one for her? The audiobook with Lance Greenfield and Kristen Leigh is great.

All the feels!
Tia Louise is one of my go to authors for a time when I need a good, heartfelt romance. She always has a way of writing that captures my heart early on and then twists and turns it in the best ways. This small town, off limits romance is just that. As a teenager, Drew was drawn to Gray. Not only was he her brother Danny's best friend, but her Uncle whom she lived with did not like him at all. Was this the attraction? Well, it was enough to pull the two together for one night of passion before he shipped out, when the two made promises to each other. But distance and circumstance changes things, and when he returns, broken and defeated, she is already trying to move on. There is something though that is tugging them back together. Is it first love? Is that taboo feeling? Or could it be real? Louise is fantastic at telling this story. It's layers of family history and pain, betrayals and guilt, and a soldier melding back into civilian life. I was all in with each piece of this puzzle and loved every minute!
Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh are a favorite team of mine. Their chemistry together is always a plus an as Drew and Gray it is off the charts. No matter the emotion, Gray and Drew had sparks, and true love flowing, and this team had it coming out. Greenfield as Gray was bleeding all the feels this man goes through. Leigh gives it her all as Drew, from love to hurt to compassion, she is spot on with each scene. Love them together and enjoyed this one!

Willing and Waiting
🎧Audio Review🎧
4.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
🎤Narrated by Lance Greenfield & Kirsten Leigh
First off this is a great coming of age story from Tia Louise, as we follow the couple through all the important years of growth and change.
The narrorators have a tough job bringing it all out in the open. Kristen Leigh as Drew was exactly how I imagined she would be. The perfect amount of sweet and sassy, strong yet vulnerable.
I had a little bit harder time with Lance Greenfield as Grey, I was expecting some a little deeper or rougher. The emotions and timing were all their and he did a great job with the read I just wished for grey he had been a little gruffer.
Overall I really enjoyed it and definitely will listen again.
