Summary

Bella Dane gives birth to twins while married to the cruel and heartless Albert Dane. Albert was adamant that he never wanted children, so when she is convalescing from the birth, he takes one of the babies to an orphanage without Bella knowing. There he meets a desperate, childless couple and sells them the baby.

Devastated by the loss of one of her babies, Bella's life takes a further cruel twist when Albert dies suddenly, leaving her poverty stricken. Bella must find a way to provide for her baby and keep searching for the baby so cruelly snatched from her. Bella begins to write to cowboy Clayton Rock, a widower, too, caring for a young baby of his own, in hope of becoming his new bride. When Bella arrives at her location and meets Clayton Rock, she encounters a shocking discovery.

Bella has to make a difficult decision. Can she trust this man she is supposed to marry? Will he be the answer to her peril? And can she ever be reunited with her lost baby to bring together her beautiful twin babies?
