About this listen

Of all the places to visit in Manhattan, the southern tip of the island is the most historic. BrightPath Tours welcomes you to our tour of Lower Manhattan!

Here you'll find the city's oldest chapel—and its first skyscrapers. Here you'll see the street that began as a barrier, extending from river to river. Today that street is known as Wall Street. Our main tour route is the old trading path that wended its way from the very bottom to the very top of Manhattan Island. You've heard the name many times—it's called Broadway.

We're starting at the Brooklyn Bridge, where we'll take in the sites of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New York Harbor. From there we'll take a walk through the canyons of lower Broadway, with stops that include the site where our Founding Fathers met, the location where gold reserves are held, and the building that housed the very first Federal Agency. We'll also see some of the sites where family and friends of the Titanic passengers waited to hear news of the great ship. We'll end our tour at one of the most scenic and historic parts of the city—Battery Park and New York Harbor.
