Great book!

I really enjoyed this book, I get so overwhelmed with the amount of information out there on health these days, especially as I transition into middle-age (sad but true). Things seem to be changing subtly, but quickly for me as I hit my mid-40s, and this book was great for providing some step-by-step things I can do to improve my health issues as I age. I especially appreciated the personal anecdotes included in this book that make all this advice more real! I learned a ton about an anti-inflammatory diet that I am excited to try. The narration is easy to listen to as well. Overall I highly recommend this book.

Surprising insights for healthy aging

I snagged this one to get some helpful hints on aging well and I feel like it really delivered more than I was expecting. It combines various insights on diet, exercise, mental health and daily routines to support a healthy life. I appreciated that it was not overwhelming or judgy. The suggestions are straightforward and the explanations for them fit into daily life. There are a wide range of topics covered from foods promoting longevity to exercise and how to make it work for you. There are also some stress management techniques as well as other mental health issues to be aware of. I really appreciated the section on sleep and stress. These are easy pieces of life to neglect... which I often do so I was happy to see them here and get some strategies to combat them. If you are looking for some small but effective lifestyle changes I would highly recommend you to give this book a listen.

Start to think about longevity early on

When you come to a certain age, especially when you start to face menopause, it is time to think about graceful aging. I believe longevity needs to be worked on as soon as possible. You do not want back and joint pain to affect your well-deserved retirement. This audiobook provides a lot of details that help you to maintain good health in terms of mind and body. It gives a good guide on diet, supplements, exercise, and even tools and therapy treatments. I enjoyed the part on Blue Zones, which was interesting, as well as alternative medicines that benefit the mind and body.
