Donada Peters gives a charming and nuanced performance of the beloved novel Little Lord Fauntleroy by Frances Hodgson Burnett, the first-rate writer of children’s literature, who was born in England and moved to the United States at the age of 16. When impoverished little Cedric Errol’s father dies, his grandfather - the Earl of Dorincourt - asks him to leave New York for England. The earl intends for the boy to be groomed to become an English gentleman, but in the end it is Cedric who imparts important life lessons to his grandfather.
