A must read for young women
An excellent and wise book for those contemplating marriage. I wish it had been written for me to read before I was married.

an invitation to intimacy and freedom through obedience to God’s original design
With passion and purity (pun-intended; see her other works), Elliot sets about, with grace and finesse, writing to her daughter, and all daughters of God - through Christ - what it means to be a woman. She shreds through cultural arguments with wise counsel and simple candour, from the stance of simple faith in Christ and His Word, making for a read that is both challenging (as a sword properly wielded) and inviting. Her humour and honesty are both inspiring and welcoming and you feel as though you have been invited for an honest conversation with one whose arms are strong and gentle - those of a good friend to both support and correct, to guide and remind us to look into Jesus and follow Him onwards.

Life changing understanding of my part as a wife and a woman
I like and was surprised by the pure honesty. This confirms what the bible calls me to do as a woman. Very grateful for this book.
