Summary
Colmar, novembre 1924. Lisel Schmitt, vingt-deux ans, est première main dans un atelier de confection pour dames. Après avoir passé un an à Paris, employée d'une prestigieuse maison de couture, elle rêve de créer ses propres modèles et de faire carrière.
Son destin, jusqu'alors paisible et prometteur, bascule le jour où un incendie se déclare dans le magasin où elletravaille.
