Il monte finalement à Paris. Il y rencontre alors la bourgeoisie intellectuelle : d'Alembert, Diderot, avec lesquels il participe à l'élaboration de l' Encyclopédie ; Voltaire, Rameau, avec qui il compose un opéra ; il se distingue ensuite comme Philosophe en remportant le prix du concours proposé par l'Académie de Dijon avec son Discours sur les Sciences et les Arts, avant de rencontrer Thérèse Levasseur...(P) et © Lyre Audio 2008
