Summary
A powerful new stand-alone novel from global best seller Nora Roberts—a story of a mother, a daughter and a traumatic past reawakened.
The first time Adrian met her father was the day he tried to kill her....
Adrian Rizzo didn't have the easiest childhood, to put it mildly, but she's worked hard to put it behind her, and to the outside world she is a beautiful young woman with a successful, high-profile career and a wonderful family and friends.
When, out of the blue, she receives a death threat in the post, she is shocked but puts it down to someone's jealousy of her success and tries to forget about it. But Adrian doesn't realise that it's more than just spite. Someone is very, very angry about her happy life and will stop at nothing to bring it all crashing down.

Fantastic Narration
I absolutely loved this audiobook. The narrator, January LaVoy, did a fantastic job putting voices to the various characters. The flow of her narration was excellent. One of my pet hates when listening to audible is when they switch between the male/female voices and it just jars for lack of a better word. There were no such issues here. I especially liked how January changed the voice for the teenage Adrian as she grew to adulthood. The story itself, well it’s Nora Roberts – an author I always feel I can rely on. If I’m being 100% honest I do prefer her books where there is a more mystical element but that is down to personal taste and in no way affected my enjoyment of Legacy. I have to finish by saying that in future if I’m in two minds over whether or not to buy an audiobook the name of January LaVoy as the narrator will be the deciding factor for me.

Absolutely loved the narrator, especially the kids and the bad guy. It gave me an extra thrill. I'll choose the next audiobook narrated by her! :)

Enjoyable
Nora Robert's books now tend to be as much about people finding their tribe or their chosen family as much as about romance or suspense. This was an enjoyable addition to her collection. The romance was a bit of a slow burn. While the villain was predictable, there was a nice build up of tension leading to the climax at the end. well narrated

Great read.
more a saga than a story as it covered from childhood to adulthood- interest kept the entire way. Ms Roberts flips POV a lot in this book and yet it doesn't jar or take one out of the moment- quite the opposite - I felt more invested knowing the thoughts of so many characters. Strong leads, strong secondaries (a sublime talent of the author) and Ms LaVoy is an excellent narrator- brought such depths to each voice- a really enjoyable listen. Thank you.

Fairly entertaining
The characters are all saccharine and most of them have ridiculous names like these were picked up by Gwyneth Paltrow. Quite entertaining overall though.

Brilliant narrator
I love Nora Roberts books and this was no exception although I think the narrator really made it for me. She brought the characters to life so well and made a good story even better.

Really Enjoyable
As an audiobook this was a really fun listen. January LaVoy was superb as the narrator. Every voice, every nuance - perfection. I enjoyed the story of family and friendship and love. Plus the children and dogs. Oh yes. The murderer was creepy and it slowly built up. I was so happy to have so much prelude to it so it didn't totally dominate this. The humour in the story was fantastic and January did it just right.

Fantastic suspense story.
One of the Best NR novels I have read to date and I have read many.
A well turned and nailbiting story of life in a small town with a few trips to the City.
Brilliant protagonists. A chilling murderer and a good conclusion to the story.
Loved the entire book.

Legacy-Nora Roberts
First book that I’ve had the pleasure of listening to by the author. It was suspenseful, humanist, with a story thread running throughout, which left me hanging on until the last chapter.
