    Not really survival phrases.

    Not really what it said on the tin... I needed survival phrases and to have them as quickly as possible for a trip. The book teaches two ways to say the same thing in totally different ways. Two ways to ask for the toilet, two ways to say hello and goodbye for example. Unnecessary and as a result double the learning. I needed survival phrases only.

    Terrible: NOT a language course

    What did you like about this audiobook?

    I was so disappointed with my purchase of the Innovative Language set that I canceled my Audible account.

    This is NOT a language course: it is the audio taken directly from a fragmented and amateurish PODCAST.

    Under no circumstances should you purchase anything from this company. This is the strongest negative review I have ever left online, but I was truly incensed and the lazy vocalization (e.g.,

    Absolutely not. His voice is nasal and irritating.

    The mumbling, informal patter. Of course that would cut 60% of the file.

    Survival Phrases

    Does what it says it does. These are survival phrases to memorize before traveling. I call it "Tourist Spanish." I am unable to learn an entire language before traveling to a country for three weeks, but this course enabled me to communicate effectively. I was able to check in to hotels, buy tickets for museums, taxis and trains. I could order in restaurants, ask for and understand basic directions and shop for just about anything I needed.

    If you are interested in learning Spanish, this is not for you. If you want to make an effort to communicate on your trip/vacation/holiday? This is a good product.
