Summary

An unusual heroine, Fiona Hawthorn grew up running free. Without a mother to restrain her, she spent her days riding her horse across her father's fields, or swimming like a sea nymph in the upper meadow lake. Trouble is, inside a prim and proper Regency sitting room Fiona is bound to overturn the teapot or accidentally trip the footman. A delightful love story

It was a fun and lighthearted romantic comedy beautifully performed by Ms Beverley A Crick. Off to listen to the next instalment in the series.

Really liked it

A nice not too obvious story. Like how accident prone the mfc was and how the mmc broodingly couldn’t stay away. Also really like the unconventionality of the mfcs benefactor. She was an intrigue monger out of this world. Although sometimes you just wanted to slap her silly.
Narration ok but even though it might be more conducive to the era of the book I felt it was a bit too haughty at times for my liking.
