Summary

Cosa diavolo ho appena ascoltato?

Il narratore ha chiaramente una grande padronanza di tutte le tecniche esistenti per variare la lettura, e infatti le usa tutte, indiscriminatamente, completamente a caso. Spesso rimane senza fiato perchè ha deciso di ignorare la punteggiatura, subito dopo un periodo in cui aveva aggiunte un paio di virgole a caso tanto per rendere inintellegibile quello che stava leggendo, e lo si può sentire biascicare mentre tenta di prendere aria senza fermarsi.

Il peggio lo da nella lettura delle domande retoriche, intonate con la cadenza iper ascendente tipica di chi legge qualcosa per la prima volta senza capirla, o di chi legge per la prima volta e basta.

Se non avessi già letto il romanzo in passato, avrei fatto fatica a capire che si tratta di un buon libro e di un protagonista affascinante, visto che dalla lettura Long John Silver suona più come un attore confuso che come un pirata. Un ascolto che mi ha urtato i nervi.
