Summary
Inizia tutto a metà Ottocento: la birra è ancora una curiosità esotica in Italia, ma Giuseppe e Carlo Menabrea, padre e figlio, decidono di crederci. Da Gressoney si trasferiscono a Biella, dove l’acqua è buona perché scende direttamente dalle montagne. È Carlo a trasformare i Menabrea in stimati imprenditori di città ed è la sua secondogenita Eugenia, detta Genia, la prescelta per portare avanti, con l’aiuto della madre, l’azienda quando il padre si ammala.
