This book changed my life!

Wow! Wow! Wow! A must-read folks. Even though I'm much older than she is, I still want to be like Katie when I grow up. :-) Such a wonderful journey and so happy to be educated on how I too can make a difference.

So beautiful

What made the experience of listening to Kisses from Katie the most enjoyable?

The wonder and love that is contained in every word. I loved the stories of how she came to adopt her children.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Katie, hello! I so wanted to do that when I grew up. In another life/time I am Katie. She is so amazing. Hearing how God has worked through her is just awesome.

Have you listened to any of Jaimee Draper’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. But I really loved her voice. She did a great job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

God speaks, Katie listens.

Cried like a little girl

Would you consider the audio edition of Kisses from Katie to be better than the print version?

Didn't read the print...so I can't answer that question.

What did you like best about this story?

It is great to see a real person do what seems to be an impossible task. Many times, Katie's story brought me to tears because of her faith in God to say

What does Jaimee Draper bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Being a guy, I would have messed up getting the feminine emotions.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many. When you think God can't do anymore with Katie, it happens again and again.

Any additional comments?

To see such a young woman doing the seemingly impossible, is just a wonderful thing to experience what Jesus has done through Katie. As stated in my title, I shed many tears at what she shared with us. This is one of the best inspirational books I have ever read.

This is a life changing story.

There are books that i read that are pure pleasure and there are some books that I read that have such an impact on me that I am forever changed. Kisses from Katie tells of the strength, unconditional love,and sacrifice that God used in this young woman who had a dream to help children in Uganda. Katie demonstrates selfless love that comes with the price of great loss at times and other times has an eternal payoff. This book took me through the whole gamut of emotions. I will listen to it again and again. Another plus is the narrator captures the emotions with realistic emphasis in all the right places.

Passion, Humility, Christ-likeness

What did you like best about this story?

The dedication and passion of Katie. She doesn't hesitate to talk about her weakness and difficulties, but always is obedient to God's Love in Christ. She is truly an inspiration and and encouragement! The effect of her love towards those orphans can not be measured!

What does Jaimee Draper bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She had a voice that made you believe that it was Katie herself who was reading the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I enjoyed listening to one or two chapters at a time.

Inspiring

This book will be a blessing and an encouragement. The biblical principles are wonderful. I ordered 5 copies of the book after finishing it to distribute as gifts. In addition, the readers voice was pleasant to listen to.
