Summary
Charlie's Angels meets The Thursday Murder Club in this action-packed, globe-trotting adventure full of twists, turns and whip-smart women.
Older women often feel invisible, but sometimes that's their secret weapon.
Billie, Mary Alice, Helen and Natalie have worked for the Museum, an elite network of assassins, for forty years. But now their talents are considered old-school and no one appreciates their real-world resourcefulness in an age of technology.
When the foursome is sent on an all-expenses-paid trip to mark their retirement, they are targeted by one of their own. Only the Board, the top-level members of the Museum, can order the termination of field agents, and the women realise they've been marked for death.
To get out alive they have to turn against their own organization, relying on experience and each other to get the job done, knowing that working together is the secret to their survival. They're about to teach the Board what it really means to be a woman—and a killer—of a certain age.

Loved loved LOVED
Adored this book and wish it was a series because I totally fell for the characters. It was lighthearted to listen too but had enough complexity in the women to keep it interesting. Highly recommend.

Fun listen, worth a credit!
The voiceover was good (English accent was dodgy as hell but other than, I can live with the rest) and the story was fun, and a nice take on similar novels!

An easy yes
A good concept, well executed. Good to see older women taking centre stage as protagonists.

Brilliant!!!!
I found this title quite by accident whilst travelling. I brought the paperback to read but I knew it would be a great audiobook as well.
The base idea is brilliant, the characters hilarious. Listened in one sitting.
Will be reading and listening again for sure

Great book, thoroughly enjoyed apart from
Some of the narration! The English (and welsh) accents were truly awful. Some were vaguely passable - but one was Dick van Dyke after a month in Sydney. That said, I managed to get over it and really enjoy the story. The narration was actually pretty good apart from this.

Wonderful!
So well written, so enjoyable and so good.
I haven’t enjoyed an audiobook so much for ages, but, and it is a big but, when is the next book out?
And please may we have the same readers? They were great.
Thank you Deanna Raybourn.

I'm giving up one this one
I'm bored, it is not even remotely witty.
The characters are flat and dull.
It's not the fun book I was expecting unfortunately.
The narration isn't bad, voices are quite samey though.
