About this listen
“I have no desire whatever to reform myself. My only desire is to reform people who try to reform me. And I believe that the only way to reform people is to kill 'em. My motto is, Rob em all, Rape em all and Kill em all.” (Carl Panzram)
In 1902, at the age of 11, Carl Panzram broke into a neighbour’s home and stole some apples, a pie, and a revolver. As a frequent troublemaker, the court decided to make an example of him and placed him into the care of the Minnesota State Reform School. During his two-year detention, Carl was repeatedly beaten, humiliated, and raped by the school staff.
At 15-years old, Carl enlisted in the army by lying about his age but his career was short-lived. He was dishonorably discharged for stealing army supplies and was sent to the military prison, Fort Leavenworth, to serve the maximum sentence for his crimes.
When Carl left Fort Leavenworth in 1910, the experience had sculpted him into the man that he would remain for the rest of his life. His hatred for mankind was firmly ingrained and he set out to do unto others before they could do unto him. His lifelong campaign of terror could finally begin and nothing could stand in his way.
Kill 'Em All is a chilling and gripping account of one of the most brutal and gruesome true crime stories in American history. Ryan Green’s riveting narrative draws the listener into the real-live horror experienced by the victims and has all the elements of a classic thriller.

Ryan and Steve have done it again
I cannot recommend this duo enough. Ryan's writing is superb and Steve's narration is always brilliant.
It is always interesting to me to see the build to up what makes a person do these monstrous things, I think it's because I could never imagine doing them. It is chilling and horrifying to hear but it is honest and true - perhaps that is what makes it so hard to listen to. Listen to this to hear how unapologetic these people can be.

Bone Chilling.
Wow, such a bone chilling listen. Carl's lack of empathy and morals were truly unsettling. I had never heard of Carl before listening to this book, and I have to agree with some of the other reviewers - he simply has to be the most evil killer.
The narration was perfect, I highly recommend listening to more of Steve White's narrations, which I plan to do too!

Excellent summary
A nice and condensed summary of Panzram’s life. I do think the extra details regarding the sexual assaults were unnecessary, particularly when it comes to attacks against children, which is why I cannot give it the full five stars. But beyond that, I found it an excellent book.

Dark
This was a really good book. It was informative, and relatively easy to follow, though it is quite gruesome and graphic. It makes you want to dig a bit deeper into the man to know more.

Kill 'Em All
I'm not really sure how to rate this book. The story was well written but the content was sad and horrific. Carl turned out to be a monster but I don't think he ever had a chance in life. He was abused as a chid just as much as he abused and murdered others when he was an adult. This story has lots of triggers and isn't meant for the faint of heart. Steve White did a great job narrating this story. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Intense
Nearly gave up on this a few times. Such a horrible story. Well written. The narrator sounds like he’s trying to sell you pens on QVC. Give it a do.
