Summary
To find their soulmates, all they need is four dates, a kiss and a breakup...
Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other's out, and they'll both go on to find the love of their lives. It's a bonkers idea...and it just might work.
Emma hadn't planned that her next assignment as a traveling nurse would be in Minnesota, but she and her best friend agree that dating Justin is too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially when they get to rent an adorable cottage on a private island on Lake Minnetonka.
It's supposed to be a quick fling, just for the summer. But when Emma's toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his three siblings, they're suddenly navigating a lot more than they expected - including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?
A sharp and scintillating summer novel that will make listeners laugh out loud and cry happy tears from the New York Times bestselling author of Yours Truly.

Abby Jiminez does it again.
Abby Jiminez does it again. The mental health representation, the gentle love, the beautiful way she describes emotions - I’m in love again.
Justin is an absolute sweetheart and my heart hurt for both him and Emma throughout this book.
The audiobook narration was stunning yet again. The emotions that both narrators were able to portray really sealed the deal for me and I found myself teeing up on several occasions.

I really enjoyed this one!!
I love the way this book is written. I love the characters and how well the mental health aspect is spot on as I have a mother who treated her kids terribly so I can relate to FMC. My only thing is I thought this book was a duet narration and it started that way then it went into duel narration which spoiled it a tiny bit and I think it would have been even more powerful than it was. Both narrators did a fantastic job.

I couldn’t put this down. Such a heartfelt story, totally gripping. Predictable? Yes in the way this genre are but I loved it so much. Also kind of sad I don’t have it to read anymore!!!

The third instalment
If you’ve read the other two books you will love the Easter eggs, but this book will stand alone.
Again we see the ‘he falls first trope’ and an emotionally unavailable heroine. This time a super human MMC. There is a lot of story covered and as their love story is frustrated so is the read. It’s brilliant but not a comfortable romance. I found myself screaming at the book for the female lead to find a way to break through herself and fall in love already. This really is the point of the story, it’s just not that easy.

Pretty Great
This is so good!! I found all the characters are so interesting, especially Emma’s and Marty’s friendship. Also, there’s so many Easter Eggs to all of other Abby Jimenez’s books, but I won’t spoil them!!

Absolutely superb
I listened from the start to the end non-stop as I couldn't put it down. Beautifully touching, heartbreaking, then absolutely wonderful. The characters had a real depth to their feelings and experiences, and their growth genuine, hard won and well deserved.
