About this listen
Following the death of her bullying husband, Etta Bancroft's selfish children move her to a village in the Cotswolds. One night, she discovers a filly, left to die in the snow. With help, Etta rescues the horse, and she and her friends form a syndicate to pay for her upkeep. As the horse recovers, she begins to show racing pedigree, so the syndicate enters her into a maiden hurdle - and are shocked at the result.

I read Riders many moons ago and really enjoyed it. But I have subsequently being disappointed by Jilly Cooper. I therefore bought this book with no great expectations, and was rather suprised to find I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
Loved It

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the story, it was typically Jilly Cooper - laughter, tears and a happy ending. What didn’t you like about Gerri Halligan’s performance?
The narration was rather flat. She didn't seem to engage with the story.Could you see Jump! being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?
Possibly.Any additional comments?
This story doesn't have the depth of earlier Jilly Cooper books but it's a good, entertaining read.Disappointing narration
