wow wow wow . what a finale
if you're reading this review you already know how good this series is . all I'll say is that legacy is an incredible finale to an amazing series . Fonda lee went from strength to strength with each of these books. 10/10 doesn't show it enough respect . Andrew kishino is probably my number one narrator now

Character building
First book by Fonda Lee, her world and character building is amazing and extremely immersive. Simple but fun magic system but the enjoyment is through the great characters she brings to life.

Excellent End to an Excellent Saga
I'm really happy with this book and the overall series. This entry ties up all the loose ends and has interesting plot points, without being overtly tropey.
My criticism, is probably the same as others, why are the Mountain Clan voiced by the narrator as overtly evil? Both main clans are doing their best to survive, No Peak are no more morally good than The Mountain.

A brilliant conclusion to the end of the saga
I want more!!
This has been such a good series, I just hope the narrator next time doesn't go so cheesy with the
villains' voices.
Other than that I loved it. Not as exciting moment to moment as jade city but truly the most ambitious and skillfully written book. What Fonda Lee accomplishes here is outstanding and I would happily continue reading if there were more in the series.

Great story spoiled by the pornography
Enjoyed the story but was disappointed when it lapsed into pornographic scenes Okay I skipped forward but does a story like this really need such scenes?.

Just fantastic
What an incredible story. Everything from the world building to the characters and the plotting was just immaculately executed. I love this world and would recommend this series to anyone who wants a good fantasy-crime saga. Well done Fonda Lee!!

A natural conclusion to everything that came before.
As with the other books in the series, this is a book that is a smidge too long, but once again I was left feeling rewarded by the word count with an absolutely incredible ending. These characters are flawed and at times frustrating cruel and capricious, but it is impossible not to root for them in their victories and cry with them in their losses.
