About this listen
Aurora
It started with a stolen kiss. A brief flirtation between two strangers. Until reality intruded. He was a part of the Irish mob, and my father had other plans for me.
In the three years since, I’ve lived in a hell of secrets and lies, leaving me a broken, shattered version of my former self. Then, I come face to face with Jack again. The man who will either become my savior or my destruction.
Jack
My Irish family has spent years rescuing women trafficked by the Polish mafia. I’ve been a protector. A defender. Saved countless women.
A twist of fate puts a woman from my past directly in my path. When I discover she’s in danger, I’ll destroy anyone in order to save her, too.

The devil is right. I highly recommend this book. It was sexy and the characters captured your imagination. Everything about the story fit and brought the story together.

Jack & Aurora
Fast paced, undeniable chemistry and passion, who can resist this series? LK Shaw gives us Jack and Aurora's story. These two meet years before, share a first kiss and are separated. Now the present, their paths meet again, but is the chemistry still there? Aurora is now in an arranged, abusive marriage that is threatening her life. Getting out without being killed seems next to impossible, but Jack is there, keeping her safe and determined to make her his. How can he do this without causing an upheaval amongst the families? This story is action packed, has some unexpected twists and turns and at times even made me cringe. But I had faith!!!! Jack and Aurora's love is timeless and could not be broken despite the obstacles. Loved this addition to the Brooklyn Kings and look forward to seeing more of the family.
Curt Bonnem and June DeBorahae give an outstanding performance bringing this story alive. Bonnem is strong and passionate about his woman. He stops at nothing, and Bonnem gives him that alpha male personality. DeBorahae has some difficult emotions to sort through, and she pours them all into Aurora as she works through her life. It's a great performance and truly made the story feel real.

What a hero
This is an amazing storyline. I love how this damsel needs help but is so strong in her journey to freedom. An emotional roller coaster that had me falling for the main male lead. A fantastic performance.

At last
It seems like forever since I listened to the first three books . In this book we finally meet the Irish guys this is Jack and Aurora’s story . It’s been three years since they’ve seen each other but Aurora has grown and she won’t be bowing down to Jack now it’s his turn to bow down to her that is until he realises she’s in danger and he’ll do whatever to save her.

devil
Loved the dual narration of Curt Bonnem and June deBorahae, who bring out the emotions , angst and wonderful characters.
Three years ago Aurora and Jack shared a stolen kiss 3 years at a wedding. A kiss that neither of them have forgotten. Time and much has happened. When they meet again Aurora is but a shadow of her former self. She had been forced into an arranged marriage, who beats her. Aurora can not see away out and can not tell anyone . Jack can not understand the change in Aurora, it is not until her aunt comes over from England that Aurora cannot hide what she is going through. Telling her the truth. Jack finds out he becomes her protector after she ends up in hospital. The chemistry that was there before comes stronger. The Irish and Italian mobs find themselves working together.

Intriguing Characters!
Irish Devil - is book 4 in the Brooklyn Kings Series. This is Jack and Aurora's (Rory) story and it was a wonderful listen. 3 years ago they met briefly at a wedding and had a stolen kiss that neither one has forgotten. 3 years has changed a lot for Aurora as she is in an abusive marriage and a shell of the person she once was. After a fateful night Aurora is determined to fight along with support and in steps Jack to play protector. He will make you swoon with his patience and love with Rory. This slow burn romance was perfect given the circumstances and I loved the great banter throughout the story. A lovely .A lovely addition to this series
Narrators June deBorahae and Curt Bonnem were wonderful portraying Jack and Aurora. They are both new to me but there was some familiarity with certain inflections etc. Overall, an enjoyable listen once I adjusted to their voices etc and quite enjoyed them brining the characters to life.
