Summary
The world of Minecraft comes to life in this thrilling adventure! Gameknight999 loved Minecraft, but above all else, he loved to griefto intentionally ruin the gaming experience for other users. When one of his father’s inventions teleports him into the game, Gameknight is forced to live out a real-life adventure inside a digital world. What will happen if he’s killed? Will he respawn? Die in real life? Stuck in the game, Gameknight discovers Minecraft’s best-kept secret, something not even the game’s programmers realize: the creatures within the game are alive! He will have to stay one step ahead of the sharp claws of zombies and pointed fangs of spiders, but he’ll also have to learn to make friends and work as a team if he has any chance of surviving the Minecraft war his arrival has started. This action-packed tribute to the worldwide computer game phenomenon is a runaway publishing smash and the perfect companion for Minecraft fans of all ages.

Tron meets Never Ending Story
Would you consider the audio edition of Invasion of the Overworld: An Unofficial Minecrafter's Adventure to be better than the print version?
For me the narrator stole some of the pace from the story and removed the emotion from a lot of the chapters, disengaging me from the story. Having read the first few chapters I wasn't so removed in text format.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
What interested me most was the Minecraft tie in. I felt the lead up to the final was too long.
What three words best describe Chris Sorensen’s voice?
Emotionless. Void. Distracting.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No
Any additional comments?
This was purchased for research and I was looking for stories to recommend for the reading age. And I would recommend it. There is plenty here to keep someone turning the pages, plenty to discuss about tropes, story building, the genre expectations, word use.
Hardcopy is best for this one!

Very Google book for minecrafters
It's a very good book for people who understand minecraft. I play it all the time. Listen to this one first before you listen to the others or you won't understand. :) Thank you Mark Cheverton for putting all this effort in to these books!

Amazing Narrater and Game
I think The person who read this is perfect! I’ve been listening to the whole series for a few years now, I can’t stop thinking about what Gameknight999 will do next! I can definitely relate to the authors son! Well, My friend can. My friends realm was perfect, we all built castles and giant structures and many other things. But… Someone he didn’t know came on and griefed it. The Giant Dog that I built in a dog house was destroyed… Our giant redstone machine.. Destroyed. Our flying city… Destroyed.. I can’t belive There was another person that knew how we felt! After I read this I asked my friend who had made the realm if he heard about this. He said Yes. And thats what started our new realm: HopeCraft. We practice anytime we can on gathering new things. We recently finished season 1 and Are doing season 2. I know that atlest some who chose this to listen to.. Has been griefed atleast once, From on a public server to on your own realm! I built a giant pokemon and a city on a public server.. Someone destroyed it and built a Poop emoji on its head.. They built a house inside it and destroyed it.. I am thankful to the people who helped me build that city on Lifeboat Creative mode. Great read. Have fun listening. Definitely read it!!! Have a great night/day! With Hugs and Laughter sincerely: Shari587 or whatever it is.

Great book, I also love Minecraft and I like it how this book can inspire people to not be griefers. I am also just assuming that your sons YouTube channel is Gameknight999. anyway, I loved it.
