To be honest, I was taken by surprise.

The first few lines almost turned me away, when it was stated that the author was a scribe for Jesus, I almost deleted the book. I have heard so many people say that and every other individual that claimed to have been channeling through, or inspired by Jesus have been completely false and have spoken lies. Especially given the fact that there was no one by that name that existed during that time (the letter J was unknown at the time and the actual name of The Christ was Yeshua). However, I felt compelled to continue listening. That is when I was completely blown away by the words! The last hurdle in awakening is ego. That means nothing until you learn what ego truly is. This book goes into wonderfully in depth explanations of ego, dichotomous thinking, and duality.
What is even more interesting is the fact that every time I pause the audiobook and listen to it the next day, it always seems to address exactly what I was experiencing that day.
This audiobook is truly divinely inspired.

Truth

We are all on this journey and this book is very helpful in understanding ourselves and shows us the message that was lost and misunderstood by many. I am so grateful for this beautiful message.

An excellent guide to the human experience.

The scope of the material in this book is such that it begs for a workbook to better assimilate this wisdom.

The book was a surprise in that I bought it for inspiration unaware that it would speak to me on another level, that level is recovery. I have 32 years in recovery from alcoholism and this book an amalgamation of excellent, much needed information for the addicted personality.

The book is definitely a keeper and now I must purchase a hard copy to go with the audio book so I can mark it up and use as a reference.

In the World, a book to be remembered and used.

Would you listen to In the World but Not of It again? Why?

Possibly but after reading it I was anxious to move to the next level.

What about Fred Kennedy’s performance did you like?

I found this book quite interesting with insightful, detailed, how to, very interesting in how to improve life and overcome our shortcomings. Unlike other spiritual books, this one is quite reasonable and matter fact type of book which is quite refreshing! the voice of the reader is perfect! I highly recommend this book to anyone who's considering learning and growing in our understanding of who we are and why we do the things we do. Awesome book.

Excellent book! Better than scripture.

I've been reading up on as many of the channelings of Jesus/Yeshua as I have been able to find, and although A Course In Miracles is an excellent set, it can be harder to absorb. In the World but Not of It I found to be easier to soak in. Also, the narration was easy to listen to. I highly recommend it.

Narrator was great to listen to. Everything was read in a way of easy understanding and really overall enjoyed all that was said. Will be listening again and again!
