Summary

Das Gleichgewicht der magischen Macht gerät immer mehr aus den Fugen. Seit dem großen Kampf des hermetischen Ordens mit der Neuen Arkana ist der zerbrechliche Friede zwischen Magiern und Paras endgültig zerrüttet - und in diesem Moment wird Sally von Donald Egmont entführt. Er vermutet in ihr den Schlüssel für das andauernde Ungleichgewicht. Caleb begibt sich sofort auf die Suche nach ihr und wird dabei immer wieder mit seinen eigenen Dämonen konfrontiert. Unterdessen bricht eine unerklärliche Feuerwelle über London herein. Tom, der ehemalige Waffenmeister des Ordens, erkennt eine starke schwarze Magie hinter den Bränden.
