Summary

Conosciuto anche con il pomposo nome di "Treno dei miliardari", il Treno Azzurro unisce nella notte Londra alle spiagge assolate della Costa Azzurra. Sulle sue lussuose carrozze si possono incontrare tutti i protagonisti dell'alta società: miliardari americani, nobili europei, ereditiere e anche investigatori famosi come Hercule Poirot. La presenza di quest'ultimo, per quanto casuale, deve essere per forza collegata a qualche delitto. E infatti il delitto avviene. La giovane e bella Ruth Kettering, figlia del miliardario Van Aldin e moglie infedele del corrotto lord Kettering, viene ritrovata stangolata nel suo scompartimento senza la preziosa collana di rubini che aveva con sé.
