Klasse

Nur eine Autorin, die aus einer Familie mit gemischten ethnischen Minderheiten stammt, konnte und durfte dieses Buch schreiben. Sanyal beleuchtet Fragen nach Identität, Rassismus, politischer Korrektheit aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln, ohne dogmatische Sturheit und mit einem Augenzwinkern. Es würde der Diskussion gut tun, wenn sie wie hier mit Humor, Leichtigkeit und diffizieler geführt würde. Ein Buch, das ebenso amüsant wie klever, zeitgemäß und nötig ist.
Schön gelesen von Cynthia Micas, nur die holprige Aussprache der vielen englischen Stellen hat mich ein bißchen abgelenkt.
