A perfectly narrated sweet comedy
Due to a series of bad decisions and mistrust of police, Amy and her best friend Kerry find themselves on the run.
Amy is a brilliant twenty-five-year-old woman who is so scared of failure that she never quit her student job at a motorway service station. She’s also very naive and trusting in a rather adorable way. When the customer she has a huge crush on, Cara, disappears, she tries to get the police involved, in vain. She decides to investigate on her own and finds out the woman left a flash drive stuck under one of the tables every morning and a man would come later in the day and retrieve it. Until a few days ago when Cara left the memory stick under another table, which the man didn’t find. Amy gets the flash drives, opens it and bam! The scary man and the MI5 are suddenly looking for her and Kerry, who helped her get away.
A former MI5 operative, Claudia McAllister is now a freelancer. Yet she’s the best huntress, so her former boss hires her to find the two fugitives, who are considered dangerous terrorists.
This story reminded me of the Australian TV series Wanted in some ways. It’s a comedy of sorts, with a hint of romance, and it was quite enjoyable. I liked Rebecca McKernan’s accents a whole lot, that’s probably what I liked best. That, and the friendship between the MCs.

Sweet story of two best friends
Sweet story of Amy and her best friend, Kerry. They get caught up in a crime they didn’t commit and get by, being kind and friendly to the people they meet while they’re on the run. Amy and Kerry amusingly blunder their way through evading capture, while skilled security officers struggle to figure out what the girls are doing. Overall amusing and easy, relaxing read with good narration.

What a Delightful Listen
First, thank you to the author and narrator for creating, and bringing to life a very entertaining novel. Huntress is a comical take on two guileless young female friends who innocently get caught up in a terrorist plot. The MC, Amy, provides the comic relief to what is actually suspenseful evasion of capture. It is a well written comedic treatment of the lumbering actions of an intelligence agency encumbered by bureaucratic policies, yet tasked with quickly identifying and stopping terrorist plots.

An interesting story with some twists
I found this to be quite an interesting story and I very much enjoyed it. The main characters were well developed. I was quickly caught up in the story. There were some twists and turns that I didn't expect. I would have liked it to continue further and see how they progress. Perhaps there will be a sequel. I'd definitely listen to that! The narrator had several accents to do and she did them very well. I will be listening to this audiobook again. I chose this book because I've listened to some of this author's other books and have always enjoyed them.

Excellent book!
This is one of my favorite books ! Maybe my absolute favorite. It has tons of humor, intrigue, whimsy, and a very little bit of romance near the end . Only a little, but hugely promising !
Narration sounds a bit awkward when there is a lot of dialogue, but voices are done exceptionally well.
