Nearing the end of his career the author entered into the solar industry. After realizing how commonly he was not able to build a solar panel system that would produce 100% of his customer's electricity needs due to limited square footage on the roof, he started doing research on other ways to lower electrical consumption.
As he was giving advice to his customers he started seeing them taking notes and saying things like "That's a great idea!"
