About this listen

I am worthy.

My stepbrother has my future mapped out. I'm going to be his pack's companion when he bonds his omega next spring. As a beta, he's tried to convince me it's the best I can hope for, even if it includes duties with his pack that make me shudder.

But I want more. My dream job is to be a designer for House of Omega, the most elite luxury goods company in the world. A ruined interview dashes my hopes—until a chance encounter with a beautiful male omega, Max. He needs my help securing a wealthy pack, and I suddenly find myself tangled up with the Rose Pack, the owners of House of Omega.

If they want to court Max, he insists I'm part of the package. I have my hesitations, not least of all because my stepbrother threatens to destroy anyone who dares to keep us apart. But my off-the-charts chemistry with Max convinces me to move into the Rose Tower, and soon, I'm living and working with the wildly attractive Rose alphas.

Everything I've ever wanted seems to be in my grasp, especially when the lines between companion and mate start to blur. And when my stepbrother comes to claim me, I realize I don't just want to fight to be Max's plus-one. I want to be the complete package.

Is there really a place for me in the House of Omega?

House of Omega is a standalone in the new Pack's Companion world. It's a spicy contemporary omegaverse with a poly/no one is left behind pack, meaning there are relationships between all the characters. It includes all the omegaverse delights of pack bonds, bites, messy heats, and alpha knots. There are no shifters in this story.

Beta strong

Grace, this fmc is great she’s got underlying issues but doesn’t spend most of the time whining, Another great novel from Roxy Collins, would have preferred more content with the whole pack but that which was there was top quality! Read the trigger warnings before you listen!

A Great Way to Spend 11 Hours!

This is a semi-sweet omegaverse. It isn't fluffy, but not really a bully or anything.

I enjoyed this, but it is difficult to not draw parallels to Lola + the Millionaires
Male Omega - Check! (Even same narrator)
Emotionally/physically Wounded female Beta that needs protecting - Check!
Nice pack dynamics - Check!
Female beta gets a job at the big business owned by the pack - Check!

While it isn't anywhere near as good as Lola, it is still a rather nice, if shallow enjoyment. 11 hours just doesn't give enough time to really build up a lot of relations with an entire pack as well as build a plot. So think of this as a story between Max (Male Omega) and Grace (Female Beta) with the rest of the pack as more of 'side characters'. But seriously, go for it! A great way to spend 11 hours!

Weird things... but not deal breakers:
*Richard's voice sounds like a robot - probably needed a third narrator with all the different pack members.
*Odd 'childish' phrases for an adult book which /really/ break the mood
*'uber alpha' used as the official term for a strong alpha
* Our most powerful alpha (see uber above) explains in a mildly dominant setting that another alpha is sitting 'criss cross applesauce'
*Timeline doesn't really allow for any real relationship building. I think it is just a week from start to finish.

Trigger Warnings/Shopping List:
*Abusive controlling ex (FMC escaping from) who is also a step brother
*MM
*Instalove/scent matches/soul matches
*RH
*Omegaverse
