Summary

Learn hoodoo and change your life!

Hoodoo is old North American folk magic, born from African spiritual traditions brought over by slaves. Over the centuries it incorporated Native American and European influences using what worked and discarding what did not. What is left is an adaptable, powerful magical system that works.

This audiobook contains the entire Hoodoo for Life series.

In Hoodoo for Beginners, you’ll learn everything you need to get started with hoodoo including the origin of hoodoo and what it really is, how to connect with your ancestors, and how to get started with your own magic workings.

In Hoodoo for Love and Prosperity, you’ll learn how to bring love into your life, restore the spark to your relationship, show you how to draw money to yourself, and teach you magic to become financially successful.

And in Hoodoo for War and Peace, you’ll learn how to use hoodoo to protect yourself, find peace, and create your own justice.

This book contains everything you need to know to get started with hoodoo, including:

  • The history of hoodoo, including how it relates to voodoo
  • How to work with your ancestors using an ancestor altar
  • How to make your own conjure oils
  • Simple instructions to make and use Mojo Bags to carry magic with you
  • Why hoodoo uses ingredients like honeysuckle, brick dust, pine needles, and many, many more

This three-in-one book contains 125 hoodoo workings to change your life forever.

One of the Best Collections

Very good audio quality, narrated in Southern accent.
This is the collection of her three books on hoodoo in one purchase so worth buying. (hoodoo for beginners, hoodoo for love & prosperity, hoodoo for war and peace). The Chapters are the first two books are titled but not the third (hence 4 stars), and most of them are under half hour.

This collection gives a good history and background info plus it covers all aspects & various types of ingredients & spells.

✍️ reference book on hoo doo conjures

I used this book as a subject to learn more on hoo doo. I can’t say if the information was sufficient, I am a beginner. I did learn multiple different conjures to fulfill a desire, based on specific circumstances. The book list how to create spells and all that’s needed.

Not authentic

Not enough is written about all the shadow work that needs to be done and why it’s needed in order to succeed with any ritual or spell. This is another example of what happens when people want your money and not really teaching you the real work

Excellent Resource Material!

I enjoyed the way the material was presented in this three-in-one book. The first book was a little challenging for me to listen to due to the exaggerated accent the narrator used (I was pleased that she dropped the accent in books 2 and 3), but the information was thorough without coming across as a lecture. It's more like having a conversation with an old friend (albeit one-sided, unless you count me responding to her/talking to myself). Angelie's writing style is a joy!

I also appreciate that the material is presented in an ethical manner with enough warnings about proceeding with some of the more complex works to hopefully give the reader/listener/practitioner some things to sincerely consider before moving forward.

My reason for 4 stars is because of the exaggerated accent in the first book and also because the audio was inconsistent throughout as to the level of volume. It was mostly normal, but there were quite a few spots where the sound would suddenly drop way down or increase a bit higher for a few seconds, which was a little strange when listening through my air pods on spatial audio! Gave me a slight dizzy feeling. LOL

Overall, I liked this audiobook enough to purchase a hard copy of it as well, so I can more easily refer back to it when I want to.

I will be on the lookout for more from Ms. Angelie Belard.

Great into to a fascinating topic!

This is a really great introduction to hoodoo, but
you're going to want to take a lot of notes or
follow up the the ebook or print version.
Also note: This a three-in-one guide.

A Great Starting Point

I wish I knew all 3 volumes were available in this one book. This is a good starting point. Don’t get each book individually as I did two of them.
