This is Mawson’s own account of his years spent in Antarctica, travelling in sub-zero temperatures and gale-force winds. At its heart is the epic journey of 1912-13, during which both his companions perished. A True Story of Antarctic Survival.

My husband loves all things Antarctic and the spirit of the explorers. This kept him entertained no end. Not my cuppa tea but I'm pleased he enjoyed it.
