I didn’t see the ending coming. The setting in Cornwall is excellent and the plot mesmerising. I wasn’t sold on the narration particularly the dialogue but it grew on me a bit.

I absolutely loved this story. I’d listen to this narrator read the phone book but THIS story was an epic tale of love that caused me soul shattering tears of heartbreak and of joy, beautiful HEA. Lovely perfect journey towards love.

Including lots of heartwarming moments between the two men and their families. Lovely palate cleanser. I do prefer books that aren't written in a third person view, and I find them easier to listen to but this was okay and I powered through.
