About this listen
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER!
From the bestselling author of the Brown Sisters trilogy, comes a laugh-out-loud YA novel about a quirky content creator and a clean-cut athlete testing their abilities to survive the great outdoors - and each other.
RIVALRY OR ROMANCE? These archenemies can't decide!
BRADLEY GRAEME is pretty much perfect: he's a star football player, manages his OCD well (enough) and comes out on top in all his classes . . . except the ones he shares with his ex-best friend, Celine.
CELINE BANGURA is conspiracy-theory-obsessed. Social media followers eat up her takes on everything from UFOs to holiday overconsumption - yet, she's still not cool enough for the popular kids' table. Which is why Brad abandoned her for the in-crowd years ago. (At least, that's how Celine sees it.)
These days, there's nothing between them other than petty insults and academic rivalry. So when Celine signs up for a survival course in the woods, she's surprised to find Brad right beside her.
Forced to work as a team for the chance to win a grand prize, these two teens must trudge through not just mud and dirt but their messy past. And as this adventure brings them closer together, they begin to remember all the good parts of their history. But has too much time passed . . . or just enough to spark a whole new kind of relationship?

Boring & Predictable
very long winded and nothing to keep me interested in ‘what happens next’ or care about the characters.

Great book
I liked the book a lot. At first it was a bit too teenage for me but it grew on me over time.

A cute love story
A really cute story about two teenagers trying to understand their feelings for each other. I really enjoyed this and I liked how good the OCD was portrayed (after I found out that the author as well has OCD) and how nice their feelings were written. And yea, they are kids so they make dumb decisions but we were young once and we all did the same dumb things.
I liked the relationship of the whole group of friends and Celine and Brad's nervousness in each other's presence. Loved how much it made me laugh. Glad I stumbled on this one, I was already at my third DNF book when I found this one and I was hooked up immediately.

Listened to it at 1.50x speed.
I struggled to get into the story at first it was a little slow for me but after listening to it at 1.50x speed I was actually able to get to the interesting part of the book quicker and then I was hooked. It was funny and I found Celine and Brad's relationship charming and real, and it progressed at a nice pace. I would recommend this audiobook, I finished it in a day and was satisfied.

Last few chapters
The book was painful to read so I decided to listen to the audiobook instead. New reader so not sure what genre I like yet however this was a struggle to get through. I hated that especially in the audiobook Brad would speak for himself and then imitate Celines voice instead of the voice actor speaking in for celine. Meh. Wouldn’t recommend.
