Summary
She's the ultimate temptation.
One that I can't touch yet one that I can't resist.
Her father was my best friend in the Navy SEALs.
He gave his life for mine.
And how do I repay him?
By lusting after his only daughter.
The last time I saw her she was a kid.
But she shows up on my doorstep in trouble and she's all grown up.
All grown up and irresistible.
But she's off-limits for an old grizzled mountain man like me.
I owe it to her father to keep my hands to myself.
But I want her.
So badly I can't think straight.
I'll let her hide out in my secluded mountain home.
I'll protect her from the bad men chasing her down.
But who is going to protect her from me and my dark desires?
A hot age-gap romance set in the mountains with a hulking Mountain Man ex-Navy SEAL who instantly falls for the angel knocking at his door. May December insta-love at its finest in a SAFE listen with no cheating and a super sweet HEA guaranteed.
Can be listened to as a standalone book. Enjoy!

Hiding out in the mountains
Ruby and Jack's story is my favourite of the series. It hits the age-gap, ex-military man, damsel-in-distress, forbidden love tropes hard and does them really well.
The audiobook narrators are both excellent and really bought their characters to life.
I really, really enjoyed this thrilling and steamy short read.

Ruby and Jack
Love listening to his over the top mountain man protection series. I can’t help rethink of the male actor in other books. I guess I listened to the other books and associated him to that. But besides that, they did a wonderful job . I don’t think this is considered instant love. Or maybe it is? Ah well.
Ruby witnessed something she shouldn’t have. In shock she stays in place until the villian comes after her, so she soon starts to move. Now her apartment is no longer safe, where can she go? Her parents have passed away. Now that she needed them who else comes to mind? Jack who is her fathers best friend from the Navy Seals. But will Jack still remember her? But she remembers his last words to her at her father funeral “i’ll be always be there for you Ruby.”
But after his best friends death his life hasnt been the best. Once a month he goes down to the local bar to let lose. When he comes back home he sees the angel of his dreams. Will he clean up hos act and help protect her?

Great age gap romance
Ruby was in trouble after witnessing a murder and ran to the mountains to her dads best friend, Jack, for safety. She had always had a crush on him but now seeing him as an adult she felt much more. Jack has his out in the mountains after losing his best friend and leaving the Navy SEALS . When Ruby arrives at his door he knows she is his purpose and his forever. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, a little danger, true love, a kind, caring, protective hero and a beautiful HEA.

Ruby and Jack
First, let me say that I love Ms. Turner's writing. Her books are great! Ruby is on the run from really bad men, Crenshaw and his goons, because she witnessed a murder in her apartment building. She has nowhere to go because her apartment was door was kicked in and she was robbed of almost everything. She has nowhere to go. While packing the few items she could salvage, she remembers she received a card from Jack that has his address. Jack was her late father's best friend and they were both Navy Seals. She runs to him and he gladly takes her in. Of course, Crenshaw and his goons will be after her, but Jack will take care of everything to protect her. This is a short age gap, insta-love story. It was such a fun book. Patrick Zeller and Samantha Brentmoor did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Father's best-friend, off-limites, age-gap romance
This is the seventh book in the Greene Mountain Boys Series, a Mountain Man Romance. This is another great addition to the series. Jack and Ruby's story is sweet, fast-paced, passionate, and engaging, filled with action, drama, danger, and romance. Jack, a Mountain Man, ex-Navy SEAL, is handsome, and protective. Ruby is beautiful, smart, and strong. My heart broke for her. The chemistry is sizzling hot. This is a great Father's best-friend, off-limits, age-gap romance. Patrick Zeller and Samantha Brentmoor did an excellent job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to more in the series. I like Mountain Man Romance!
