Good story, not narration

I enjoyed the story, good characters, involved and exciting. Lidia Dornet doesn't do it for me though her narration/breathing irritates me.

Disappointing

Started well - interesting background on Hetch, but then deteriorated into chauvinistic sex - what a shame

Nice book

I like the storyline in general. Nice romance, quite realistic which is very nice...However I was expecting a bit more action....

Looking forward to the sequel!

Combustible ~ Chemistry Off The Charts!

I was concerned about listening to this audio due to some of the other reviews regarding the narration, but I'm glad I didn't take them to heart or I would have missed on a freaking fantastic listen and performance. Maybe it's my headphones, lower expectations, or I'm just not as critical, but I enjoyed both Lidia Dornet and Aiden Snow's performance and would certainly listen to other audiobooks narrated by either of them. I LOVED the story and narration! If you like steamy romances, don’t pass this one up! It's worth it!

The chemistry is off the charts! Hetch and Liberty have explosive personalities, and from the moment they meet, sparks fly. Hetch is sexy and has that alpha take charge personality, both in and out of bed, but doesn't do relationships. He's a member of the S.W.A.T., and risk his life daily while saving others; however, he also has baggage which he rather not deal with.

Liberty is a caring person who works in a boys home for troubled boys/teens. She's recently broke up with her boyfriend and has sworn off men and sex, and started her self imposed sabbatical. However, after meeting the sexy and persistent Hetch, she's ready to give in for one night of passion.

Hetch was a well written story told from dual POV's with a plot full of drama, action, suspense, and some seriously hot romance and sex scenes. Both the main and secondary characters were great, and there many scenes throughout the story that had me laughing out loud and blushing for the characters. A very entertaining story, and I can't wait for the next one. River Savage I hope your fingers are flying over the keyboard writing the next story!

Well worth the time and credit; however, I bought this on a whispersync deal!

BAD Female Narrator PLEASE STOP USING LIDIA DORNET

If you could sum up Hetch in three words, what would they be?

Good story. TERRIBLE FEMALE NARRATOR. Please stop using Lidia Dornet!!! The constant sound of swallowing, spitting (gross!!), obvious post nasal drip (disgusting!!), and deep breathing after every other line is VERY distracting!! And it's not an editing issue. I've listened to other books that she's narrated, and the same problem is there. She is ruining what are good stories and creating a TERRIBLE listening experience!! Authors, publishers, STOP USING HER. She is ruining your books!! It's very distracting and at times absolutely disgusting to have to listen to someone who doesn't have control of the body fluids associated with speaking. For example, whenever she says a word with a "P," you can literally hear the spit spewing from her mouth. SOOOOOO GROSSS!

What other book might you compare Hetch to and why?

Very good story. Likable characters. Interesting story that keeps you entertained. Good book. I would receommend READING it and sadly not LISTENING to it because of the terrible female narrator. Aiden Snow, the male narrator, however is quite good.

What didn’t you like about Lidia Dornet and Aiden Snow ’s performance?

Aiden Snow's performance was great. Good, deep voice, which is quite sexy. Lidia Dornet on the other hand was absolutely terrible. PLEASE STOP USING HER. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Normally yes, but not with the terrible female narration. Made it difficult to listen to the book because the sound was stomach turning.

Any additional comments?

STOP USING LIDIA DORNET AS A NARRATOR!!!!!!!!!!!

I Can't

This story wasn't even that bad, it was the HORRIBLE narration that ruined it for me.

The guys voice in my opinion, didn't go well with the main male character. But I dealt with it. It was the female's voice that completely ruined the story for me.
I have no idea why they didn't edit her voice like they did the guys, her swallowing, her breathing. her gulps, her gasps, her EVERYTHING! I'm sorry I just can't. I have never not wanted to finish a story so badly before, I don't even think the female narrator was that bad. it's just that since it wasn't as edited as the guys it was way to annoying to deal with.

Until they fix this it's definitely not worth a credit

Great story and Aidan Snow was Great!!

My only complaint and I am pretty upset Tantor audio is slacking in the editing, but the female narrator would have been great had I not heard EVER breath, mouth and swallowing noise!!!! It's ridiculous that the male's was wonderfully editing of these very distracting noises but they didn't do it for the female!

Aside from that issue I absolutely LOVE the cover art and the story was greatly refreshing. For once it wasn't a helpless female in the hospital! The story was less predictable then I originally assumed, which is very refreshing! It's a good read/listen. I very much enjoyed it (minus the mouth noises).

This is a horrible narrator. I could not finish

The narrator made it impossible for me to finish the story. It sounds like her mouth is full of spit

Surprised and pleased

I did not know this author 's work when I purchased this book. Now I am hoping that there are more S.W.A.T. Team books In the very near future. I am totally hooked on these characters & River Savage's style of writing.

You'll need a fan in one hand and a tissue in the other

Wow! I loved this book! I was quickly drawn in by skillful narration to become totally immersed in the story, which was funny, sexy, suspenseful, tender...and freakin' HOT!!! Whew, how I love a good strong alpha male spoken in a silky baritone...simply sublime. Aside from being insanely hot, this book has a lot of other moments that will bring tears to your eyes and inspire the full spectrum of human emotion. I'll be listening to this one again for sure.

Perfect

Amazing! I went into this book completely blind, not knowing what it was even about. It got recommend to me so I picked up my copy and dove right in! And that cover is simply gorgeous so really, it was not a sacrifice at all!

The storyline was addictive; a true page turner! Hetch's story was heartbreaking and I could easily understand why he chose to keep people, women especially, at arm's length. Liberty was such a kick-ass woman too! I loved her job and how much she loved it within the book. She was dedicated and devoted to helping those boys.

The narration was PERFECT. Lidia and Aiden NAILED IT!!!!! The best narration I've heard this year! Seriously, cannot stress that enough!! PHENOMENAL!!!!

Epic story and a perfect narration makes this audiobook a five star, must read!!

Fantastic!!

Hetch was great when I read the book and just as good in the Audible version. The story is fantastic!!!

I did not enjoy the male reader for the first 2/3 of the book as he over-emphasized words and emphasized the wrong words. He got better the last bit of the book and spoke with more feeling.
