Summary
Ein italienischer Edelmann, der in einem Landhaus wohnt, meint nach einem Unfall, er sei Kaiser Heinrich IV. Die Menschen in seiner Umgebung haben sich damit abgefunden und bestätigen seine Vorstellungen. Eines Tages kommt ein Nervenarzt mit weiteren Besuchern, der ihn heilen soll. Dies soll durch eine Schocktherapie gelingen. Doch Letztere versetzt "Heinrich" in eine solche Erregung, dass er seinen Dolch nimmt und einen der Besucher tötet.
