Summary

Encounter the glories of Heaven, the terrors of hell, and the stunning reality of the unseen world!

When Jim Woodford died, he spent 11 hours in Heaven. When he came back, he was changed forever.

A successful airline pilot and businessman, Jim had it all - a loving family, substantial wealth, and all of the good things that come with it. But none of this was enough to satisfy the emptiness he felt in his heart. He always hungered for something more. And then one day, he died.

Jim was never a religious man. When it came to matters of God and faith, he was ambivalent. But as he lay in the hospital bed, clinically dead for more than 11 hours, his consciousness was transported to the wonders of Heaven and the horrors of hell. When he returned to this world, he brought back the missing piece his soul had been longing for.

Join Jim Woodford on this unforgettable journey into the afterlife!

Awaken to the vivid sights, sounds and sensations that you can enjoy in Heaven forever.

Be inspired by detailed descriptions of the "contrails of prayer" in Heaven's skies, the "sticky love" of God, what it feels like to hug an angel, and more!

Encounter the chilling realities of hell, and the sharp claws of destruction that threatened to pull Jim into eternal darkness.

Take comfort in the "six simple words" that led Jim into the Presence of Christ

Whether you need hope for tomorrow or strength for today, this story is your invitation to a radical transformation!

nice testimonial, ruined by weird A.I voice

First of all, don't do this book with audio *unless you must). the narrator is awful. he sounds like a computer-baby learning to talk. thankfully it's a short listen.
it's a nice testimony, but, please, read it instead.

Warm and hope giving report from heaven

Jim's NDE account is one of the most interesting and fulfilling to hear, it gives hope and really helps in time of my grief over the way to early passing of my wife. Thank you.

Narration was over dramatic

Couldn’t get into the book as the narration was over the top and impossible to listen through. Could not and did not finish the book.

Awful narrator

Overacting on overdrive! I would imagine to have one of these experiences would be leave me in awe! But this narrator is so dramatic with his attempt at making it sound holy/humbling/etc ruins the entire book. I have tried numerous times to listen to it and I thot if I did a marathon listen maybe his reading wouldn’t bother me anymore. Wrong! I do NOT recommend this book and that’s a shame because it’s so wonderful to know things like this really can and do happen in today’s world!

Unexpected Grace & Unexpected Truth

This story is the story of many lives lived ignoring God, unprepared for what follows and death comes knocking at your door. Do you fear death? Do you fear anything? Are you certain who your Heavenly Father is? Ignoring the reality of Hell doesn't make it less real, you know! Heaven awaits those whose hearts are trusting in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for all sin on the cross. The Romans played a minor part in his work, providing the cross and hoisting Him up upon it. What no one, not even His disciples expected was that He would raise Himself from the dead on the third day, exit this earth for heaven for a season and come again. Are you ready to meet your maker?

Good story but needs a different reader

The story is very good. I enjoyed hearing about his experience and would love to meet him one day. The only thing that bothered me was the reader. Perhaps English is a second language for him. I think he would do well reading children's books, but his continued hard pronunciation of an "a" every time he encountered one was offputting. His voice was pleasant enough though.

Crying narrator

Story is ok but the narrator ruins the story because its like he is almost going to cry while reading, all the book.

Narration is Overly Dramatic/ Emotional

Story was lost in a weird narration. Written, it would be 90% italics. Emotion was over emphasized too much of the time. It just makes it an uneasy listen. Sorry, narrator.
