About this listen
Two internationally known spiritual guides explore integrating our inner and outer journeys. They challenge us to confront our inner and social violence and bring it to healing and transformation in a sacred and ecumenical context. Rohr and Keating each give insights on awakening to God's friendship, coming to know God and ourselves, growing in love through centering prayer, facing evil around us and our demons within us as well as opening our deep selves to divine therapy which heals our wounds. They invite us to become who we already are.
These conferences will appeal to those beginning and those more seasoned in centering prayer. The deep wisdom of two spiritual masters is a sacred and transforming gift plunging us into the ocean of divinity that surrounds us.

Relatable Wisdom
I have long wondered how today's world issues can be met non -violently - above all in my own head, and also practically 'out there' in relationship with others.
In this collection of talks I find much food for thought. The wisdom expressed here helps me to widen my perspectives. There is also an answer to one of my central questions: how to influence a situation for the better without adding more of the same [negativity, judgement, aggression etc], but rather bringing an altogether different energy which can aid transformation and lead to a resolution.
I will listen to this again and again as the messages are so rich. Also, I like the speakers who talk with warmth and humour - wise Elders.

Healing Our Violence NookbReview
As I walk through a difficult time in my life listening to the audible book has helped me to accept the past traumas as part of life and to bring them to Jesus to heal. But it is a journey as the title states for which I am still going through.
From our beliefs, church and religion we can be taught to push these violences/traumas down or suppress them, but they come out again. I found the book so helpful in getting to accept it is okay to fail and fall.
Thank you to the co-authors for this audible version which helps me as I journey through.
Blessings Sandra
