Deep Healing

I really appreciate this audiobook, I usually go day by day pretending to be happy when inside I feel sad and wish that I didn't. This audiobook has helped me to become more self-aware and really take a look at myself with compassion and understanding. The audiobook addresses childhood trauma and the emotional challenges that can come from that and how to help. The prompts and exercises are well-structured and they are designed to make it easy to reflect and process at your own pace. This audiobook goes deep into coping mechanisms that I feel will really help. I found the strategies for trust issues and emotional regulation helpful and the workbook had great prompts to ponder. This is a wonderful resource as I continue to become healthier emotionally.

Great for trust issues

Having been hurt from a young age by family members, emotionally and physically, I was recommended this audiobook by my therapist, and it has been fantastic at giving me easy-to-implement tips and tricks to manage past trauma. It was a fascinating listen, which was difficult at times, but learning from the super experienced author about how to overcome problems with trust and my biggest challenge, dealing with my emotions. You will laugh, cry and probably be triggered by your past but this audiobook holds the keys to long term healing - highly recommended.

An Unexpected Healing Journey

After twenty years of climbing the corporate ladder, I thought I had it all figured out. Corner office? Check. Six-figure salary? Done.
