About this listen

Welcome to Haunted Liverpool 33 - an extraordinary collection of supernatural stories by cult writer Tom Slemen. In this amazing book, you will listen to the mysterious vampiress who stalked Anfield Cemetery during World War II, the terrifying entity known as the Lockdown Dream Demon, as well as the eerie but sad tale of the Girl with the Cobwebbed Face, and you shall be enthralled with a series of weird tales that revolve around the Tarot. Tom Slemen also documents many more timeslip mysteries and looks at the account of two men who built a working time machine.

In Haunted Liverpool 33, you will hear about murderous goblins, a plethora of chilling stories about the devil, and a former criminal who discovered what seems to have been a wishing tree. You will meet angels, fairies, ghosts, witches, elves, and there are even two romantic stories about people who fell hopelessly in love with ghosts. These are just some of the uncanny yet fascinating stories contained in this volume of Haunted Liverpool - so listen to it at your own peril....

this is another great addition to the haunted liverpool series with some really great stories, the faries in the park was a nice change of tone.

Nigel Peever once again gives a great performance bringing the stories to life.

I was given this audiobook for free and have left this review voluntarily.

Loose the screechin' and I'd give a 5*. Made me laugh in parts, bossness!

Absolutely love the narration

I couldn’t finish this book, the sound effects of foxes was so distracting, I couldn’t get into the stories because of the foxes

Background noises

I have to echo the criticism of another reader, the constant relentless screeching sound effect throughout the first story made me want to switch off. I don't mind some sound effects to compliment Nigel's narration, but this was totally irritating and over the top. Completely unnecessary.

Ridiculous Overdone Effects
