Summary
J.M. Barrie's one-act play Half an Hour was first performed in 1913. Ralph Richardson plays Richard Garson, a financier, unhappily married to the well-born but impoverished Lady Lilian. Her heart, however, belongs to Hugh Paton, an adventurous young engineer. She decides to elope with him to Egypt.
"Theatre Royal" is a series of radio dramas owned and restored by Heritage Media, part of the Divine Art Recordings Group. First broadcast in 1953-4, it was the only radio series in which Laurence Olivier played dramatic roles. Other leading actors included John Gielgud, Ralph Richardson, Orson Welles, Margaret Lockwood, Alec Guinness, Robet Donat and Trevor Howard.
